Now Taking Submissions for Spring 2010!

January 2010
Theme for Issue 10:
Love and Loss: Wrenched Hearts.
Deadline for Submissions: April 10, 2010.

We are looking for submissions of poetry, short and long fiction, short and long creative non-fiction, art, photography, articles, digital media, both in written and art forms, flash fiction, new types of poetry, and multi-media pieces.

Sage of Consciousness also accepts simultaneous submissions and previously published work. Please include publishing credits with the submission.

Sage of Consciousness is published online quarterly and each magazine is centered around theme chosen by the staff. Deadlines are January 10, April 10, July 10, and October 10 of each year. Themes will be posted in advance.

Please submit written works in Microsoft Word or in the body of an mail to sageofconsciousness@gmail.com

Please include an email address in your correspondence to receive confirmation of the submission received and notification of acceptance. Also please include a disk with your printed copy.

Limit of six photos/art pieces/graphic design per email (Through post, photographs are unlimited). Please send art files and photography files in 300dpi if possible ( most scanners settings are defaulted to 300dpi, however this setting can be changed in the scanners settings menu).

Rights are retained by the artists, but submitters give Sage of Consciousness permission to display their work in one version of an online issue and one version of a printed rendition of the issue by submitting to Sage of Consciousness (print issues are every magazine's dream).

Please include a 300 word or less biography with submission. Photographs of artists and writers will be posted with biography if you choose to send one with your submission(s).

Please review the previous issues to get an idea of the submissions we have accepted in the past.

If you miss a deadline for one issue, your submission may be held over to the following issue for consideration.
